Re: Rotator Cuff Injury

Before I started working with Jean I suffered acute pain, discomfort, grinding and at times shoulder pop outs. My shoulder issues were a result of playing football for ten plus years. When I was finally done with playing football I consulted with an orthopedic surgeon, who suggested I have surgery to address my rotator cuff issues. Although they could not pinpoint the specific ailment, the surgery was going to be an “exploratory” surgery... something I was not interested in exploring.
So for the next fifteen years or so I sucked it up, performed physical therapy and just coped with the pain until I met Jean who introduced me to Neuro-Therapy. After the first treatment I had regained full range of motion (which I haven’t had since my playing days). By the third session my shoulder no longer popped out of place. There were times when my shoulder would pop out of place for something so simple as placing my hand in my back pocket. Working with Jean was definitely a huge sigh of relief. Moreover, I was able to avoid shoulder surgery and enjoy all activities without acute shoulder pain.

RE: Back pain/Degenerated Discs

"Thank God for Jean Johnson and her healing hands" -

My physical therapy experience with Jean goes back a number of years. I was experiencing numbness in my lower extremities along with excruciating pain while walking or standing; and I was weeks away from having surgery on my back to correct a couple of degenerated discs.

Fortunately, I met Jean and she got me into physical therapy. Within a couple of months - the pain was gone and I no longer required surgery! Her method of treatment was thorough and effective. Thirteen (13) years later - I'm still benefiting from her services. She was professional, knowledgeable and empathetic, and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a direct, complete, therapeutic healing experience!

Re: Lower Back Pain and Shoulder Injury

I was first introduced to Kinetically Yours alternative therapy back in the early 2000s. At that time I had had problems with my knees from the years long ago when I played High School football. Those injuries were never treated properly, so over the years they became increasingly worst. Then Jean re-introduced me to kinetic therapy. I only received a few treatments because at the time she lived in Cleveland. Even so I went from serious pain to tolerable pain. Over the years the pain became even less until I were able to go with just slight soreness and stiffness basically the same as associated with old age and weather change.

About two and a half years ago after having helped a friend move, I incurred severe back pain when walking or doing any bending of the back. About a year later while working out lifting weights I injured my shoulders. I went for months with no treatment. I only took over over-the-counter painkillers for the back and the shoulders.
Jean, after having moved back to the Metro Detroit area, begin kinetic therapy on my back and my shoulders. She first started with the shoulders by doing an analysis to identify the problem area and damage. Fortunately the damage wasn't severe. She began the therapy sessions 1 to 2 times a week for the first couple months. I noticed signs of relief after the first few sessions coupled with hydrogen peroxide soaks.
Once the shoulder therapy was well on the way and there was significant relief of the pain, she begin to incorporate back therapy. Much like in the case of the shoulders I could detect almost instant relief of the back pain. Due to COVID-19 and scheduling conflicts, therapy had to be discontinued or postponed. Good news is that even though therapy had to be postponed for the time being I can still say with a joyful certainty that my back and shoulders are much better than before the therapy began. A testimony of the progress is that before any treatment or therapy I could not walk very far without severe pain but now I can walk at least 3 miles comfortably.
That to me is a major accomplishment. So without doubt, in my opinion the kinetic therapy is a viable solution to your joints muscles and other related injuries.

RE: Trapezius Injury

I am a skeptic so I wasn't sure just how successful Kinetically Yours alternative therapy would be since I had tried everything for my trap injury (caused by my workouts). I decided I would give it a try when another friend told me that it cured her plantar fasciitis and urged me to consider treatment. I am SO glad I did, because I am here today to tell you that I no longer have any pain at all and have been able to successfully resume my workouts. Jean is simply amazing! She knows her stuff! She was patient with me and explained the entire process step-by-step so that I knew exactly what to expect. To say I am pleased would be an understatement.
